Kalina Macuta and Daniel Blanch present "Catalans in the United States" in four concerts in France and the United States



Between March 13 and 22, the violinist Kalina Macuta and the pianist Daniel Blanch will perform a tour of four concerts organized by the Ramon Llull Institute with the support of the Joan Manén Association with a program entitled "Catalans in the United States" that includes works of Catalan female composers who have been linked to the United States such as Joan Manén, Marc Migó, Lluís Benejam and Carles Suriñach.

The concerts will take place in the following cities and halls:

Amphitheater Richelieu (La Sorbonne) - Paris

Monday, March 13 at 8 p.m

The Juilliard School - New York

Organized by: University of Montevallo, the Ramon Llull Institute and the Joan Manén Association.

In the concerts that will take place in New York and New Jersey, Kalina Macuta and Daniel Blanch will perform Marc Migó's Casals Suite with cellist Bethany Bobbs. These concerts will allow the duo to present their new album "Lluís Benejam: Sonatas for violin and piano" published by Columna Música. They will also broadcast the album "Catalan Concertinos & Fantasias" dedicated to symphonic works by Joan Manén and Marc Migó published by the Toccata Next label.
